Per College Baseball Magazine's Top 30 poll

TUCSON, Ariz. — For the third consecutive week, Florida St. (59-12) has been ranked No. 1 in Collegiate Baseball newspaper's NCAA Division I baseball poll.

The Seminoles, fresh from winning its regional with three consecutive victories, have now won 25 straight games.

The top 10 was relatively unchanged. But the second ten saw dramatic movement because of four big upsets during regional action over the past weekend. Richmond knocked off highly regarded Wake Forest to win the Winston-Salem Regional while defending national champion Miami, Fla. beat heavily favored Florida to capture the Gainesville Regional.

Miami had a modest 30-26 overall record entering regional competition but defeated the Gators twice for the regional title. Another upset took place when Florida Atlantic went into Alabama and knocked off the heavily favored Crimson Tide in the Tuscaloosa Regional.

One final upset took place in the Wichita Regional as Arkansas rolled through with three straight wins. Highly regarded Wichita St. finished third out of four teams with a 1-2 record while Oral Roberts knocked off the Shockers two times in the regional.

The Collegiate Baseball Newspaper poll is the oldest college baseball poll. Its birth took place during the 1957 college baseball season.

No problem, that's what I'm here for. <img border="0" alt="[Drinky]" title="" src="graemlins/drinky.gif" />

btw...the HOGS start five freshman in baseball this year (not counting pitchers). How good will this team be in the next 2-3 years? Things are finally beginning to perk up for Razorback baseball.

Good point, I always thought that once the U of A built a beautiful baseball facility that the team would be good, and it happened in 1999, but hasnt since. Maybe these freshmen can make the team better, and make everyone in NW Arkansas realize that this team is good and they should show up for the games.

Go Hogs, Beat Clemson!
